What this is
Eh! Systems exists to help Canadian small businesses and reinforce a positive sense of Canadian identity, at home and abroad.
In some shape or form this has been bouncing around in my head since Covid, watching communities show up for local businesses in a way that felt different from anything before it. Our family participated as much as our buying power allowed.
The idea found new urgency during the trade tension with the United States, when a lot of people started asking the same question at the same time: who actually owns what I’m buying? This time I thought there might be something I could contribute to the space, with a new passion for supporting small businesses and the people behind them who add so much value to our local culture and to being a real community in ways big corporate just cannot match.
